Hey all,
Well, I'm sure no one reads this! It's been 7 long years since I last posted! In that time I've played a lot of gigs w/ the Stephanie Hansen Band, Yankee Dogs, and with the Julie Williams Band. Stephanie Hansen dissolved about 3 years ago. Yankee Dogs dwindled as neither Bill nor I had enough time to put into getting new gigs. And along w/ all of this my father had a stroke and I took care of him for 2 1/2 years or so and also took care of all his stuff. I'm still doing that to this day. My family took it out of me and I am not playing music anymore. Now I am recuperating from the intense stress, anxiety and depression that part of my life put on me. I'm now learning who the new me is and what my needs and limits are. - So different than 4 years ago!!!

Keep following your heart and soul. It's all fleeting and temporary!

Arts and Music are crucial to our lives. It satiates the soul, communicates feelings and thoughts other-wise indescribable, frees our imagination, helps us connect with God, nature and other beings and non-beings in a deeper more meaningful way.
Live your life free
ly and with verve!

Being a member of Band of Humans and Yankee
Dogs bands have helped me become a better musician and a better person. The music and personalities have freed me up to be more myself. I have become a better, more versatile fiddle player. I have learned more about the technicalities and music theory than I ever did playing classical music. These bands are about the joy of camaraderie and celebration of life through music. Although we perform to entertain, we are not just about the performance or the gig..... we are about connection to our audience, each other and the universe.
